  
There are no translations available. L’escursione si snoda in ambienti di notevole interesse storico, artistico e ambientale. Punto di partenza e di arrivo la città di Poggibonsi. Sarà possibile visitare fra le altre testimonianze storiche la Fonte delle Fate del XII secolo, in cui è stata inserita la famosa opera di arte contemporanea dal titolo “I dormienti” di Mimmo Paladino; il sito alto medioevale di Poggiobonizio uno degli scavi altomedioevali più importanti d’Europa; la fortezza rinascimentale di Poggio Imperiale; la basilica di San Lucchese, l’ottocentesco Castello di Badia. Dal punto di vista naturalistico fra gli altri ambienti si visiterà il parco naturale della fortezza e le rive del fiume Elsa. Durante il percorso saranno illustrate le caratteristiche della flora e della fauna presenti.

Percorso di notevole interesse storico, paesaggistico e naturalistico. Il percorso ha inizio nei pressi del Castello di Strozzavolpe, poi percorrendo un sentiero assai suggestivo in un bosco ombroso si raggiunge una notevole zone fossilifera. Procedendo poi attraverso un bosco caldo ricco di essenze di macchia mediterranea, si raggiunge il Castello di Strozzavolpe e il Borgo di Luco.

Itinerario storico-naturalistico nei dintorni di Poggibonsi : un percorso di notevole interesse storico, paesaggistico e naturalistico con bellissimi panorami della zona del Chianti. Si inizia con la visita alla Magione dei Templari, suggestivo fortilizio sulle sponde del torrente Staggia e importante luogo di sosta per i pellegrini. Si prosegue fino a raggiungere il borgo di Luco, dove sorgeva un bosco sacro dei Romani e il Castello di Strozzavolpe vero maniero medioevale che ha conservato all’esterno la sua struttura architettonica originaria (non visitabile). Attraverso un bosco caldo ricco di essenze di macchia mediterranea si raggiunge una notevole zona fossilifera. Durante il percorso saranno dati cenni di storia del territorio e notizie sui monumenti visitati, saranno illustrate le caratteristiche della flora e della fauna della Macchia Mediterranea e fornite alcune informazioni sull’area fossilifera presente lungo il percorso. Inoltre sarà possibile ammirare bellissimi panorami
