Percorso che si snoda nella campagna valdelsana nei dintorni di Colle e Casole d'Elsa, durante il quale potremo godere di magnifici scorci su tutto il territorio circostante trovandoci a camminare su un altipiano caratterizzato da campi di terra rossa. Questi luoghi furono utilizzati nell’antichità come sede della necropoli etrusca di Dometaia.

There are no translations available. Il percorso si svolge all'interno del Parco Fluviale del Fiume Elsa, in cui oltrepasseremo il fiume con l'aiuto di ponti e attraversamenti con corde. Qui analizzeremo la vegetazione ripariale tipica di questi ambienti, vedremo specie acquatiche più o meno comuni e l'ingegnoso sistema di canali che alimentavano le cartiere, i mulini e le gualchiere. Arriveremo poi a visitare gli antichi bagni romani delle Caldaie, alimentati da una sorgente termale.
