Via di Porta Giustizia
Named after the ones sentenced to death who had to walk along it to reach Poggio delle Forche, some miles outside the town, where, from 1298, the city executions took place. For instance, via dei Malcontenti, beyond piazza del Mercato ,was called like this because of the evildoers who where everything but happy to be taken through it.
